Charlie Weis down on the 50 yard line!

Notre Dame's head coach, Charlie Weis, was accidentally taken down by his own player in the 4th quarter of the Notre Dame vs. Michigan game on saturday.  The awkward fall resulted in him tearing both his ACL and MCL.

At least something good came out of the day for Weis. . . Notre Dame beat Michigan 35-17.

Man, what a horrible way to leave the field after a win. I guess its the risk you take for being a coach huh?

Oh snap! That's awful! I always wondered if that kind of thing took place, and I guess my question has been answered.

Hey Perk.

That N.D. coach's mishap reminds me of what happened to Joe Paterno a few yrs. ago at Penn State.

Coaching can be a hazardous profession.
